Need help with size!
Hey whats up guys.
man, this tire thing is really starting to bug me..but thats a whole different thread...
i went down to costco and they said they can get me some BF Goodrich G force KDWs for 631.00. I checked 'em out and i want to go with them. i went in to order them and he double checked the size for me.
In his comp it said 215/40/18 isn't recommended because its 3.5% bigger and anything over 3.0% isn't recommended. a 205/40/18 would make it a ~2.8 difference.
Im not sure what to do...i know what the numbers mean..but i don't know how they affect driving. can somone help me out please?!

42 offset? ... hmm.
I would think you -should- be ok ... I had 225/50/16 gy f1gsd3's on +42 offset rims. They rubbed the suspension in the back until I got a camber kit ... the fronts melted the wheel well plastic on wide turns. I'm dropped on tanabe springs ... about 1.5"
so yeah ... imo, I think you should be ok ... but don't rely on just me ...
