Buying tires real soon

I am going to order my tires next week, and so far i think i will get Potenza RE950s stock size. Would stock size be the best?
Also, has anyone tried this tire? Cause it has some of the best reviews i have seen and it is a pretty cheap tire considering how well it did on tests.

half_n_half17 is an unknown quantity at this point
950's are awesome for the price! I've had a set for over a year now and they're vastly superior to stock rubber. If you're not planning on dropping your car very much or at all get 205/60/15's. I dropped my car on neuspeed sports and I have to have the rear cambered for them to fit (somewhere around -2 degrees). If you plan on lowering i'd go 205/55

Would going with a wider tire have any negative effects?
What about a higher profile, cause a 205/60 will be "taller" than 195/60, would it roll easier?

i switched in the re950s in 195/60/15 after my factory firestones 185/65/15 wore out. very good tires... great in rain, greater when dry, a lot of thread left after 10k miles, quiet, a great tire for someone whose looking for that "economy performance".

wider you go, the more grip it'd have. with a 205/60/15 sized tire, its gonna look fat/chubby. what you mean by roll easier? check out the tire calculator...itll give you a measurement how much your speedo will be off and how fast you really are going and whatnot.

roll over, would the tire roll over onto the sidewall easier?
On tirerack.com they only have re950s in 205/60/15 there is no 205/55, so if i went wider i would have to go with a higher profile tire as well. My stock size is 195/60 by the way.

I do not get how that really helps, cause even with those i would want to know about tire sizes.
