help ASAP

Ok i bought some 04si alloys and im using my tuner lugs from my old rims to put them on, Is this ok? the lugs seem to stick out pretty far? I dont wanna use my oem lugs cause i dont want these wheels ripped off? I just wanna know if its ok and why they stick out further than the actual wheel???

I think the 04Si wheels are a ball seat lug nut, like your OEM nuts. Tuner lugs are probably acorn, so you shouldn't use them anyway.

well, I have never seen the Si alloys up close but you should judge for yourself. If the place where the lug nut sits is rounded, use the tuner ones, otherwise, OE.

yeah, they're gonna fit, but they're not going to fit the wheel seat, which you can't see with the nut on. You're putting a cone in a spherical seat. so not much is actually contacting the wheel. Use OE lugnuts with OE wheels. Honda sells OE lock sets. Mcgard also makes ball seat locks.
