Removing old tires from rims...

anyone know what to do? yes, i deflated the tire. is there a seal to break or some trick to this? im going to be painting my rims before taking them to the shop for mounting and balancing.

I'm in the same boat you are... I just had a buddy at a shop pop them off for me.

Really too much trouble to do without a machine, and risk damaging your rims.

the machines we have spin the rim and basically we just pop the bead over this tab and when it spins it takes it off.. do it twice and its off.. I cant really think of a way to DIY it tho..
