17X7.5 rims. is this to wide for 7thgen?

Hey found a good price on some rims that are 17X7.5 and I was wondering if that would be to wide to put on the civic. I have a 2.5 drop and don't really want any rubbing. Does anyone on here have rims w/ that width. If so please give me some input. I did a search but didn't find anything exactly on this topic.

Dave

jttegx has a spectacular aura aboutjttegx has a spectacular aura about
<---- 215/45/17 17x7.5" rota subzeros, tried setting the springs to 2" all around but i had rubbing issues up front and rear. so had to raise both ends up to 1.8" ish and adjust rear camber so it sits a little negative so fender wont touch the wheel.

your set 17x7.5, just make sure you find a good tire size to go with it.
