Anyone running/heard about/know of the Hankook K106 Tires??
I had Hankook Ventus HR-II, and I got about 54,000 miles out of them, they did really well in the rain until they becamse about 2/3 worn. We use to carry Hankook K106, but not since we changed franchises. Did sell a lot of them, and didn't get any complaints.

hankook website lists them as a high performance radial. so being a radial i wouldnt expect that high of a performance compared to the ventus HRII405. i had the HRII and really liked them, until (like nitroal said) they got worn down to about half or 2/3 and got less grippy in the wet. dont get my wrong, they are still great tires for summer driving, but you cant push them as far in the wet anymore though.
im guessing youre looking at tires.com, and they dont have anything else besides the k106 and HRII in a high performance tire. but Town Fair Tire looks to be a retailer throughout the MA area, so id call up a store near you and ask if they have any of the other hankooks on hand.

im currently running on the K106s.. based on how i drive i have good traction even in wet weather. i would recommend them .. theyre good quality and good price also. only downside is that you feel every bump on the road.. but then again that depends on how thin you want your tires
