Tires for 17 inch rims

more than likely I will be getting the Motegi MR7's 17 inch.

What would be a good tire size to match with it???

you are a freaking idiot. i never said anything about them being fast now did i? all i am saying what drop are you going to do if any. that way you can get realistic answers. put whatever wheels you like. i could care less if you put some chrome 3 spokes on there that stick out 5 inches its what you like not what everyone else likes. if you want an answer from me just pm me i am more than willing to help but i am done dealing with high school kids that dont know what they are talking about

the size of the tires depends on your offset ... 215/45/17 would fit perfectly for your speedo, but you would need a lower offset ...

I was able to fit a 225/50/16 (barely) on my 16x7.5 rims +42 offset ... no rubbing issues other than the shredding of my plastic wheel well covers (oh well, weight reduction )

If you like the Motegi, get them!!! Put what you like on your car. I have Motegi DP6 and I like them. I am not concerned about weight, just looks by and large. I did have 21545R17 before I put on the 18's, and it looked good with the 1" ProKit drop.

well I was supposed to have my car dropped by now... but b&g coilovers are currently on back order... so i'm thinkin imma just fucc the drop and go turbo. but if i do drop i want it to be I guess around 1.5 - 2 inches... I just don't want my wheels rubbing and want them looking clean and be almost as good if i had stock wheels on... Oh and about the mr7's, I really wanted some devino Nubs' but can't find those on ebay for cheap or in 17's and i really don't wanna go any higher than 17's but no lower lol... anyways i just wanted to know what would be the best tire sizes to match the rims up with.

That's the perfect size for your 17" rims especially if the car is a daily driven car.

I have 205/40/17's now and they are hard. Can't wait for them to wear out so I can get 45's for softer feel.
