How much would it be to take off rims off tires to switch to another set of tires?
I called costco and they said it was going to be $40 smackers, is there any places cheaper like pepboys or etc. ? Thanks

Rep Power: 399 I got Tire Barn to pull them off for 1/2 the price of mounting and balancing. $25 was what I think I paid for it. Tell them you need to have the rims pulled, then you're going to be refinishing them and bringing them back to have tires remounted. 1/2 now, 1/2 later.

Some think that auto/tire shops are ripping you off, but, at least in Cali, we have some of the most insane overheads. Workers comp, all that stuff, really adds up.
