Yes. They're such a smooth surface powdercoating is really the only way to go. I tried painting them before I powdercoated them... the paint lasted about 12 hours. White? I think they're too blocky to be white.

IMO you're better off repainting the Si rims. In fact it's not a hard DIY (just takes time), and will look better than MR7s.
Nothing wrong with the MR7's really, they're a nice style. But EVERYONE has them. I've seen them (and their copies) on just about any car that will fit them....they don't even stand out anymore.

trade them in! definitely DO NOT paint them white. white wheels are the biggest pain in the *** to keep clean. i'd get a new set of wheels if i were you...but i'm not a big fan of those si wheels in the first place

The problem with MR7s isn't the fact that everyones grandmother has a set, or what they look like. Its the fact that they weigh 24 lbs.
