Rims Question

Hi guys

Sorry for the dumb question but. I'm looking to buy some used rims off somebody but he knows nothing about the rims. All he knows is that they are
4 lug and does not know the offset.. He sent me pics and I like the looks but now im just not sure if they will fit my 2001 civic.

How do I know if this will fit ? Do I need to know offsets or does that not matter ?

Thanx for the help

I wouldn't even risk it.....its not sorth paying for something that you can't use just because its a "DEAL"........the person selling them should know that kind of info or at least tell you what kind of car they cme off so you can do your own research to find out the info you need......Don't buy if your unsure.

ya thats why im trying to get you guys help me out.

well here is all the info he could get for me. If any of you guys can help me out with this , would be great.

" asked, but not 100% sure but maybe a 93 Civic, it's an early model anyhoo...i've asked a friend that had an early model civic and accord before and he said they were interchangable 4-bolt pattern rims, not sure if it's the same as the new models.

anyways i've measured from the mid. pt of the bolt to the the other to form a 8cm x 8cm square. "

thats what he said... dunno if it will fit our cars ???

No, those wheels will not fit.
They are probably off from old accords.

4x100 will fit.

only 4x100 will fit our 01+ civics. every civic rocked the 4x100 4lug (exclude type-r) from 89+. the highest offset i believe will work is 45mm. anything above will give problems.

i would definately stay away from his "deal"
