when bleeding brakes...

when you bleed the brakes, do you do it
with the motor running. Do I need to start the
car (pressurise the lines) ?

Phil.

Ok, seems your a bit early on doing this kind of project. You should read up a bit more if you can. Remember here are some EXTREMELY important Rules:

1. When pumping the pedal NEVER let it drop to the floor
2. Make sure the BMC reseviour never runs dry or else your BMC is toasted
3. Bleed by the manual or do RR, LR, RF, RL sides
4. Dont dispose on street, stuff smells nasty

it's about the same things on bikes (I use to bled
a lot of these) so it will be realy easy to do.

Thanks for the tips,

Philippe.
