offset and tire size question...

Ok, I'm ready to order my wheels but
I need to know if everything will fit... I
searched for a while and all I want is a
confirmation before I buy.

2004 civic
15 X 7 wheels w/ 40 offset
205-60 R15 tires
no drop

Thanks,
Philippe.

I know that the tire size will be ok... I have use the tire calc...

What I wanted to know is about the 7'' large rim w/ 40mm offset
and that tire. I just want to be shure that the tire will not be to
far out since it's not low profile and the rim is large.

Thanks,
Philippe.

7" width fits fine on our civic01+. 7.5" is the max i believe as for street wise and daily driving i know of. 40mm offset is fine as long it isnt over 45mm+ i used to have rota subzeros in 17" that were 7.5" wide and it was so dam close hitting the "control arm"? or whatever that was that looked like a tube.

but you'll be safe with what you had down... what rims btw?

offset is where the spokes are located in lamens terms. u will only have to worry bout negative offset with our cars if u wanted deep dish rims. that answer your question and help you understand now?
