if you have warped rotors, can they be fixed? and how much would it cost?

I got those crappy ebc greenstuff pads and i need to get them replaced, i am just hoping its not my rotors.

you can get them machined at almost any auto shop... basically they shave off a few thousands of an inch off the surface of the rotor to make it straight again... you can do this a few times before you gotta replace the rotors

youre gonna have to ask around your area for pricing to turn the rotors, usually its like $20-40 depending... altho some places will sell replacement OEM rotors for about $20/each

ok, i thought that they could do that, but somebody told me that you have to have the whole rotor replaced

well it depends on how badly they are warped. you could have too much runout forcing the place to turn the rotors more then neccessary and it woul;d be better to replace them.

go to autozone or oreilys if you have them and ask if they machine rotors, usually like $15 a rotor.
