Do they have JDM Blinker fluid? I'm almost out. :P
also, Do you think they have JDM cross drilled Brake lines?
Note: I have rotas for 3 reasons
1. Cheep
2. Light
3. Strong
and considering they are my autocross/track wheels... its best for them to be as cheep as possible.

1. That pic looks photochopped.
2. htf are Rotas rice? As zzyzx said, they're light, cheap, and strong. "Rice" means "looks without performance." I guarantee you my Rotas are lighter (read: better performing) than all the big fvcking heavy *** rims that most "tuners" put on their cars.
Tell your friend he's an idiot if he believes that.

this image isnt dissing rota wheels, more like the "ricers" that use rota wheels. the gist of it to me is pretty much saying "real car tuners use rotas for what they were meant to do while the ricers are using them because others are and want to look "cool" ot blend in the crowd". meaning the ricers are just following the path of what they think is the real deal.

I think Rota makes some awesome wheels. If they serve the purpose then who gives a crap? I can see for a show car that all those little namebrand stickers will score you points. But around a track or just daily driving perfomance is all that matters. I can totally afford to buy Mugens or Spoons but I can't justify it when a wheel that looks just as nice is available for 25% of the cost. Right now these wheels have got my attention.
I just may get those in January.
Oh and btw, I think the sign is funny. Whatever their intentions were though I can see how someone who owns Rotas might be offended by that. It's easy to misunderstand.

I dissagree, JDM can very easily fall in to the trap of "Rice". Simply because there are thoes out there that buy JDM parts and accessories Simply because they are JDM, Rather then if those parts are better or even praticle. which is the very essesnce of Rice.
