rims+tires for stock 2002 Si

Can anyone recommend a rim size + tire size configuration that will work for my factory 2002 Si Civic? I have been shopping around and get many many different opinions from shops that seem like they have never upgraded rims on a car before. I have been toying with lowering the suspension and taking the reccomendations found throughout the site.....but fear that my luck will run out if I try something major....leaving me with my wheels up on blocks while I try to figure things out. I have never taken a bus and would rather not start now.

Derek.

your bolt pattern is 4x100 i believe. 4 lugged. check out the tire calculator on this site under "quick links". their are so many tires/rims out their avaiable. you just need to research more on the net or visit more tuner wheel shops.

search this site and you'll see a lot to look into. goodluck and hope you dont get gypped in the future

if you plan on lowering in at some point i would do one of these combo's and i do work at a shop that we do alot of wheels
15" with 205/55/15, 205/60/15
16" with 205/50/16
17" with 215/40/17 if you plan to lower if not then try 215/45/17
18" with 215/35/18 or 215/40/18
19" with 215/35/19

those are the most popular combos that i use on a civic, there are many other combos that are possible if you need any recommendations pm me and let me know what you are wanting and i will help you in the right direction
