UPDATED pic- Opinions wanted - These 17 inch rims on my car, stock height!!

UPDATED - ok I just did a quick photoshop to get an idea.
Just took the rim from the attached pic. So it's not even a straight shot of the pic...slightly angled. Not even sure either of the size and if I'm too big or too small, and the profile of the tire. but at least gives quick idea.
If was real, would also see the calipers and such behind it.
yeah, it's flashy, but it's not chrome, it's a high luster silver finish.

OK before you people tell me to drop it, I ain't gonna do it..lol
It's not worth my time and trouble and getting all the other parts associated with it, or paying for repairs and car if I don't spend all the money to do it right.
Alot of people I see here will tell ya...drop it, get springs, 100 bucks shipped...done. I just don't think it ends there or is that easy and car and shocks and everything else gonna be fine and dandy.
Plus I'm gettin' old now and don't have the time, money and effort to put into this kinda thing. Just looking for some spiffy rims to spice it up in the summer.

I also see alot of people just think the gap is ugly and cars look like 4x4's. But I also noticed the majority of the cars I've seen on here, are coupes.
Is it just me, or is it the coupes that actually look worse with out dropping, when getting larger rims? MAybe it's just the design of the car, and the fact that it has 2 doors, implies a more sporty car, therefore something sticks out and doesn't seem right without it being lowered..like most 2-door sports cars would be.
I think the sedans look like they can get away with it a little more, as I've seen some nice ones here, 17 inch rims, stock height.

So now my question:
How do you think these rims would look, on my car, at stock height!
Here is some pics.....and my gallery can be found too...
Thanks guys!

I used to have 215/45 and it also looked ok as well. 205/50 is a little bigger profile of tire then a 215/45.

Well, that particular rim looks rather blah for any import IMO. As well the large space between the spokes will make your car look lifted. There are many others out there for your car. I agree that sedans can get away with a little more than a coupe in terms of rimms with no drop, but if you're not gonna lower the car, I would recommend something that doesn't have a lot of space between each spoke. That will reduce the "4x4" illusion most people with stock height get with bigger rims. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume you're not a fan of the "dark colour with polished lip" look, in which case silver or bronze would look great on your black car.

Thanks for the opinions!
Keep them coming!

Also, if no one likes these rims, then could you suggest some other styles, that would go good?

And yeah, I guess I'm gay, cause I wanted some "bling-bling" wheels to stand out.
I just really like the high luster silver finish on those konigs, and the machined lip and those bolts or whatever they put around the rim...just gives it som kind of industrial look..

Also, I'm hoping that because my car is a sedan, and it's black, and tires are black, the gap is all black and shadowy, that it's a little harder on my car, for a gap to just jump out at you, like it might it if you had lighter color that contrasted the black tires and gap.

Something with 7 or more spokes would be ideal, again in my own opinion only. ADR Sokudo 10 in Gunmetal (they call it Gun Black for some reason), ADR Flite 5's in silver, ADR M Sport in hyper silver, Konig Blatant or Absolute, the Imagines look good too. I'm not sure what your budget is really but there are lots out there, these are just the ones off the top of my head that I think would look good.

babylon28, where in Ontario do you hail from? I've got a nice little hookup for rims if you need one, and he's got something going very soon with Rota wheels as well if you're interested. pm me if you wanna talk about it...

If you're not going to drop it, go for the 18's to fill the wheel wells a little more and get some 225/40 tires.
