ADR Wheels
yay,
affordable, great knock-offs, heard no negative stories about their rims, their selection of wheels are nice, but keep in mind you get what you pay for.
great rims if you wanna roll on something clean on the budget.

APC makes Icon Wheels - cheapest of the cheap knockoffs. Seen them up close - uneven finish, generic played-out design. Just blah.
silo454 did you even intend to make this a productive post? Sheesh.

ADR isn't the GREATEST quality, but it's leagues above APC
I didn't even realize American Poser Company was Making Wheels yet.

ADR wheels are good for their price. but their rims are kinda soft and no good against the mighty curbs like other more quality rims.
but then again, most of us don't hit the curb when parking that often, lol.

Agreed - if I hit a curb when parking, even if I only get a tiny little scrape on the rim, it's not good enough to be on my car anyway. I never heard of the ADR's being particularly soft though. I know TSW and Motegi are soft....

Give him a call he gives insane prices on ADR and RLS wheels... he has a group buy going on for the status owners, but i'm sure he'll let you in.

ADR wheels here. I've got the Version II's. I like the nice clean look of them, but ADR has some other nice styles too. Not disappointed so far with the quality. They've treated me good and held up well...that is except for the bastard tire place that mounted my tires and scratched the edge of one of my spokes, just enough for me to notice and

there is a guy local with those, look really sweet rollin'. the contrast between the machined spokes and the black background sets off almost any color painted car. would be my choice if i was to go at it again.

the aforementioned ADR Model Flite rims (18"s)...i paid $1089 for the rims and tires installed (in Monterey, CA, so i'm sure i paid more than alot of shops would charge)...they match the car perfectly, but on 2 (maybe even 3) of the rims, the plastic coating on the machined lip got cracked or chipped somehow (no curb-checks or anything..), and now there are a few half-dollar sized spots where it's not shiny, just bare aluminum...i'm sure i could just get 'em recoated, but it's just a FYI for anyone looking at this particular model...good luck!

and as for the spokes being thin: i originally thought that might present a problem somehow, but i have a metric ***-ton of weight in my trunk from my full-size spare, false floor, amps, subs, etc, and the only issue i have ever had is that my rear tires camber in a little due to the aforementioned added weight in the trunk...so if you're interested in these rims, let me be the first to say from first-hand experience (so far) that you'll definitely be pleased..good luck!
