What is the difference between 205/35R18 and 205/40 size tires?

well first of all, there is no such tire as a 205/35/18, smallest 18 is a 215/35/18.

and 205/40 is probably a 17, possibly a 16.

what are you wanting to know? your not making sense.

Main difference is more sidewall rubber.
You'll notice that 215/35 looks more low profile than 215/40

man that place is beyond cheap. And their pricing is WITH tires? Are they junk tires, or are they charging major money to mount, ballance, and ship?

Im not sure, just saw the low low low price and it caught my eye. you think they're cheapo rims/tires? wouldn't doubt it, i've heard you gotta be weary of online rim shops

heres coupe wheel sites you should check out:
www.wheelmax.com
www.wheeldude.com
www.victoriatire.com

keep in mind, you get what you pay for. i'd personally consider buy cheap rims for show. i wouldnt expect them to perform like stock, but even worse.

a lot of times you get what you pay for. It isn't that case for EVERYTHING though. Most likely the tires will be really bad. You might get like 15k miles on them or something. Who knows.

The rims might not ever ballance right. Or you might find them to be really heavy. Granted you don't have to spend the most money possible to get a set of nice rims.
