Offset size?

I'm not sure about the correct offset, but most people have offsets between +40 to +45 and are okay. I believe some have an offset below +40 because of OZ superleggera wheels.

The width is what matters, not the diameter. How WIDE?
On a 6" rim its 45
to keep the same centerline on a 7" its 38
on a 7.5" rim its 31
BUT this keeps pushing the wheel out. To keep it in the fenderwell, you'll want a higher offset. If you plan on dumping the car, you need a higher offset.
Since it doesn't seem you understand the concept of offset, read the FAQ.
On average 40-42 is fine, you'll probably find that most wheels are made in that range as well.
I am running below 40 on both sets of rims.
My street wheels, OZ Superleggeras are +37 and 7" wide
My race wheels, Esses Speedmaster SM046 are +38 and 6.5" wide.
Neither give me problems.
