EBC pads with EBC rotors

ok, i've bought some used EBC rotors from a member here, and some EBC green stuff from dezod, and have been using the combo for quite some time now (more or less 2000 miles).

nowadays i'm experiencing squeeky brakes! It doesn't squeek all the time, but sometimes when i brake hard, or brake while turning, it'll make this extremely loud squeeking noise.

Any diagnosis on the problem?

and i still have the vibrating noise when driving. I think its the brake pads slightly skimming the slots on the rotors.

Does anyone else with sloted/dimpled rotors have this vibrating problem when driving and especially while braking? its sounds like: br-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r when you brake, and when ur driving, you can hear a scraping sound like thck-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k.

please help me out guys. >_<

Squeaking is normal on brakes, but I will tell you its the EBC pads. They are not very good on our car, and there not rotor friendly, no matter what rotors you have. I guarentee you your rotors have alot of runout right now because of those pads.
I experienced the same problems when I had them and switched to hawk pads and brembo blanks and I couldnt be happier.

i have the same ebc combo and hate them. they do "bite" real hard but i can't stand the noise and vibration. when they wear down, i will not buy them again. i'll probably go with the brembo/hawk like streetglower.

EBC is generally not very good. We do not recommend they to any of our customers.

If you are looking for something with a little more than stock braking power, I would recommend PBR.

No dont use your stock rotors. Get some brembo blanks and some good pads, I say hawk HPS. I have that setup and the stopping is excellent.

Sure. Send me an email to alex@prostreetonline.com and I'll get you a good deal. I'll give you a price on Monday when I get into the office.

Thanks!

there is no place you can get them for $30 a set, only $30 a rotor. Also, go with the blanks and hawk HPS, or axxis pads.
