will my tires blow?

hey guys today i went to get my tires rotated and the guy showed me my really bad camber wear on two of my tires..he said its to the second layer of rubber and needs to be replaced. im not really sure if he was just tryin to get more money out of me or not but.. at this point in time i really need all the cash i have and buying new tires will set me back bad. the camber wear on my tires looks almost bald... will my tires blow if i keep riding on them? or will they just get really really bald.. i know its dangerous to drive around w/bald *** tires but i really need the cash right now.. thanks

btw..im running on 205/40/17

If they are bald, then you need to replace them. Yes they will blow on you. Plain and simple. The smallest object in the road could puncture the tire.

But it seems like your alignment is off and that what is causing your tires to wear like that. I noticed you had glodline springs, do you have a camber kit as well?

Well go have your alignment checked, because if you have 2 tires wearing, your alignment is off. BTW, what 2 tires is it?

You need a camber kit.... if you don't have the money right now, at least put 2 good USED tires on. Just to get you by for a while.

yeah i had an spc camber kit...but everywhere i looked to install/align was at least 120 an i dont think thats something i can trust myself to DIY. then shortly after i got a ticket so i had to sell the camber kit to pay for it

the tires were my fronts now they are my rears

thanks

120 for an alignment and install of a camber kit is pretty cheap, I paid $80 for my rear, and $20 for the front, plus I have a lifetime alignment. But that is a good deal if you ask me.
