So I am not down wit what rim company's are amazing ... besides RacingHart etc etc ...
I just bought a set of Motegi RT5's ... and just wanted to get a feel for what the rep of the company is.
I mean I'd be embarassed if I had Fast Wheel's ... you know. Anyways give your opinions and what other company's kinda rank in Motegi's class.

Why not just buy a wheel that you like? Why does the manufactuer's rep have to be an issue? Assuming there are no flaws in the rim of choice.
Just buy wheels that you like and don't listen to what people tell you about your rim. If you like it, then thats all that matters.

Yah no I already bought them and they are on my car ... I was just wondering what the word on the street was about the company ?
Simply put I see alot of motegi rims on cars in my area ... so wasn't sure if it was just a fad company or something.
Also, what company's would you say compare to motegi (in the relative same class)

I wouldnt say that. If I had Enkei, I would take that as an offense. No comparison between them
Enkei have been in F1, Rally Racing, Japan GT, Drifting, and Import Drags. You do know that Motegi is owned and manufactured by American Racing, right? That's right, American Racing wheels that you find in SEARS.
What factory certification does Enkei adhere to?
International Organization for Standardization (North American standards)
ISO9000
ISO/TS16949
ISO9001
Safety Standards:
JWL-Japan Light Alloy Wheel (JWL) Standard for Passenger Cars. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport requires that aluminum wheels for passenger cars bearing certain plated numbers sold in Japan bear the JWL mark. The JWL mark can be displayed on wheels that have passed the standard through a self-certification system.
JWL-T-Similarly, the ministry requires aluminum wheels for trucks and buses (with 1 and 4-number plates) to bear the JWL-T mark. Even if a vehicle is classified as a passenger car bearing certain plate numbers and is equipped with LT tires as standard equipment due to its GVW (gross vehicle weight), it must use aluminum wheels bearing the JWL-T mark.
VIA-A third-party entity called the Vehicle Inspection Association verifies whether a product meets the requirements prescribed by the JWL or JWL-T standard. This association permits a product to bear a VIA mark if it passes rigorous quality and strength verification tests conducted in accordance with the JWL or JWL-T standard

American Racing Equipment today announced that the company has been awarded ISO 14001 certificate of registration for its environmental management system.

I chose Motegi MR7s for my car because I liked the look and style of the wheels. They do look real nice from a distance, but up close they look kind of cheap IMHO. The back edges of the struts that extend out from the hub are rough and look like they weren't polished or smoothed at all. And the model 'sticker' is crap, it falls out leaving you with a hole.

alienmeatsack, I agree with you. The paint behind the spokes are not as smooth as the front of the spokes. I can literally see that the wheels have been spray painted.
I cant or wont complain, this is all I can afford.
