Well, I bought these rims with some major road rash, wheels and tires for $400 and I decided to go get them fixed for the least amount of money. Had my buddy spray them. Now I know its not as tough as powder coating, but I think it will do for now. Cost me $150 to paint all four rims!! What you guys think???
Old with Road Rash

Freshly Painted

One of a kind I guess!!!! Now what color for the Center Caps???? You see the color changing paint on the drum??? Might see how that looks.

It looks fine, but it probably would have cost you the same or a few dollars more to powdercoat them, and it would have been a hell of a lot more durable.

The only place to get the powder coated around here, runs $1 per minute for sandblasting and $75 per wheel for powder coat. Not what I intended on spending
They look brand new. Need to paint mine too and won't spend for powdercoating either. Wait 4-6 weeks for the paint to fully set and then just clean real good and put a coat or two of polymer sealant wax. The new NXT Tech Wax by Meguiars is amazing but only lasts 2 months max. There are other, longer lasting polymer or acrylic sealants, like Klasse, that last up to 6 months . Go to autopia.com (search: rims or wheels) and you'll see this is what detailing enthusiasts do to maintain their rims.
