popping sounds coming from front wheels..
what could it be? its only at certain times and its from fronts only while their moving
knuckles?
bearings?
my CV joints are fine..
i just wanna know what the hell the noise is. i think it has something to do w/ steering cause if i drive 300 miles on thre highway as soon as i get off and i go for a slow turn it goes pop pop pop pop pop its not suspension its something else..

I got that same thing...First off make sure the rims are nice and tight... Other than that I dont know... I blame it on aftermarket suspension.. Can expect it to not make any sounds...
my B&G's have done that ever sine I put them on, except its only when i turn the wheel all the way going real slow (like pulling out of the driveway or something)...
my teins never did this ****, but they also didnt go as low so I cant complain. haha

i got a it of pop noises after i installed my neuspeed strut bar..
dunno if it's the same noise..
it's only when i accelerate from 0 to 5 mph though...
is it possible that because i jacked up my car while the nuts from the studs were being released might caused this problem (i was installing my strut bar)?
is it possible that what i did "damaged" the coils and/or anything on the wheel?

i have the poping sounds on my car to, if i go liek 5mph it makes a loud popping sound from the front right of the car, pretty sure the tires are on tight, so not sure. I'm putting in another new suspension tonight, so hopefully it goes away.

oh,.. not center caps, not wheels loose, id what it is.. i keep thinking bearing? when i accelerate it goes faster too. and its only while wheels r moving.. so its a rotational problem

took it to honda and they replaced the wheel bearing free of charge.
after i had no more noises. As far as the poping noise its still there and i havent figured that one out yet. BY the way i am lowered on koni/groundcontrols so its not just the b&g's making the poping noise.
i have the same thing too.. but when i put my stock tires back on, the poping noise goes away.. and yea i only here it when i'm going real slow.. like turning right into a parking lot, or comming from a parking space like mc donalds..

it's your springs! it is to compressed that when you roll either it seperates the coil from sticking to each other and or it's tapping the coil when you are moving that causes the tapping noise!
if you have the coilovers it's that metal in the middle that sleeves down to the struts that taps to the shocks body... you suppose to have that rubber "O" ring so it would touch the body of the shocks
I had the same problem with my tein basics, the plastic sleeve that covers the metal pipe that connects to the shocks to prevent dirt to get into them... is where the popping came from, then later it just went away... you need to break em in! or change the "O" ring if it's busted!
just my .05 from my own experience!
