Spoons or not spoons this is the ?
How do you mean? By just looking at the wheels? Or when you buy? You can use the weight for reference when buying. And when you see one, hardly people notice the difference in color, expecially if you dont own one, like me
But I came to find out that Spoon isnt as flat black as the Rota. Like I said, hardly people notice the difference since only a few people have the real Spoon. Some Rota owners paint their SlipStream with black metal primer to achieve the closest color to the Spoons.
I know someone will correct me if Im wrong
Rota

Sliptream 15x6.5 12lbs
Sliptream 16x7.0 13.5lbs
Spoon

Spoon Sports SW388 Forged 15x6.5 8.6
Spoon Sports SW388 Forged 16x7 12.9

I believe spoon's wheels are more of a gloss black than a flat black that rota has. And the signature in the wheel. ota will have ROTA on the inside of the wheel. Spoon will naturally have SPOON on the inside on the wheel.

Spoon's will say FORGED on the rim, it should also say somewhere 'Made in Russia'
There's also about 4 lbs difference between the real one and the fake.
