For racing, specificaly Autocross and Open Track. Its well documented that Most cars perform much better (lower Lap times) with out ABS.
Case in point... The Integra Type R: you can Termporaraly disable the ABS in a Type R (You can do it on the GSR Too), and the car Performs MUCH better on track then with it on.

Believe me, you know when the ABS kicks in.
whenever i go around a turn really fast and notice its TOO fast, i slam on the brakes (not smart
but hey no one was around). when i do do that, instead of a steady brake pedal feel, it feels like my brakes are gonna, well, break haha and it kindajitters (the pedal does). i dont liek that....
maybe this is what you autocrossing junkies mean? or am i just insane...

^^ The ABS is loud and has a consistent pulse when you hit the brakes a lil too hard. You might hear it also if you're on the brakes while steering the wheel...
use the old fashioned trial and error method. take one out and if you can stop easier than you can steer you took out the wrong one...
edit: I spelled hear wrong...

i think there is a missunderstanding of what ABS is for. ABS was designed to assist steering in braking. Have you ever tried to steer a car while the brakes were locked up? Well you cant steer if the wheels arent turning. Thats why ABS is used on alot of todays cars. It enables the average person to be able to be in a panic stop situation and still be able to steer the car. Is it possible to have better results with out ABS? Sure but not by the average driver, even the driver who THINKS hes better then average I can bet most people cant pulse the brakes faster than a computer and electronic solenoids can. Anyway for racing i guess it would be worth a try to see if you can get better times without the ABS, but not its not too likely

^^ if we had a 4 channel ABS then I would agree. But we have a 3 channel ABS, so when ever I get up on 3 wheels and even touch the brakes the ABS kicks in ... Really annoying. As long as you've learned to threashold brake you should be able to out perform our ABS system.

^^ You'd be supprised. its well documented that the Integra R is much faster on course with the ABS turned off....
ABS is there to Keep Grandmas and Stupid people from getting in to trouble.

im not used to having non-abs brakes.. when i run canyons, i come up to 20 mph turns @ 90+ mph utilizing full abs right before the turn.. haha.. otherwise id slide off the cliff.. My mind cant think that fast yet, how do i adjust? I got a WRX, they use something called electronic brake force distribution, what exactly is that zzyzx?

Sounds like you are Braking too late. and you need to pratice your threashold braking too.
also, how fast do you on the brakes? Meaning When you hit the brakes do you Stomp on them, or do you smoothly add in brake? If you pounce on them, your probably not letting the car react to your braking (if you dont allow the car to shift some weight forward before you reach 100% braking, you can lock the front tires)
