I recently installed my 17" back, and did rotations of wheels.

However, Inoticed that the steering wheel become shacky at 70 mile/hour...

Can someone explain or suggest what might went wrong here?

thanks a lot!

I remember someone mentioning the need for centering rings.

Are your hub-centric rings on or do you have them at all? Hows the air pressure? Are your lugs on tightly/properly?

yeah, I have the O-rings on.

Are those the centered rings you guys are talking about?

about balancing, I left those wheels in my room for maybe 5 months, and now there are on, do they still need balance?

about the lugs, how do we check if they are properly installed?

thanks

you need to rebalance if they vibrate at all.

everyone said it already... it comes down to

1. hub-centric rings
2. tire pressure
3. wheel balancing
4. lugs

but you can also check
5. alignment

Is there a possibility of DIY balancing?

I hate wasting money... -_-
