Tires....whats the widest tire for a 17'' rim? 235/225/215 w/o rubbing?

I heard 215 but I could be wrong. Not unless you get the spc contral arms. Correct me if I am wrong

All depends on the offset and width of the wheel, suspension, etc.

215/45 or 215/40 you should be fine on a 7"-7.5" wheel.
