powder caoting bronze

powder caoting bronze

i searched and i didnt see anyone wanted to powder coat their rims to color bronze.

i was just wondering if anyone have done it...plz post some pix

Bronze is an incredibly hard color to powdercoat. I've seen it done, sometimes successfully, sometimes not so much. It has a tendency to come out way too brown, why, I'm not exactly sure, but you need to make sure you need to lean more towards antique gold than true bronze to get some success. See if you can get a powdercoater to to a little test part for you before you do wheels, even if you gotta pay $15 or something to do it. Its cheaper than $160 or whatever and getting back brown wheels.
