ok guys i know it has been posted b4 but not really any definate answers.
i was wondering if 225/45/17's would fit with no drop. i was wanting something that was really wide with a little bit more profile. i want it to fill up the wheel well and give me more sidewall protection.
imp: any info would help if you have this size tell me what you think of the ride quality, look, and how long they last per set. thanks guys
or maybe just what is the largest size tire i can do with no rub on 17x7's

Man... its gonna look like you have Jeep tires on you civic. My best guess is that i tprobably will fit, but it'll be funky. It'll probably ride pretty nicely b/c of the tires being so fat, but your odometer would probably be dramatically off. The tire calculator isn't working for me, or else I would check and let you know.
I need TP for my bunghole

You might be able to stuff a 205/50/17 in there. Its a little bigger in overall diameter than a 225/45, but its in the sidewall, not in the treadwidth. Choose your rim offset carefully.

would a 225/45/17 fit with a Goldline drop? i have a Kaminari body kit and i was looking into getting a wider tire for better turning and better ride as oppose to thinner tires.
