Tire size help!!!!!

I feel like i have read this before......but i still havent got a final answer......so here it is....

I have the eibach pro-kit, so my car will be dropped 1 -1.5 inches. Now, i am putting 17's on and i want to know what is a better fit........215/45/17 or 205/45/17???

I live in canada and my stock tires are 185/65/15.

So lets put this to rest once and for all........

thanks guys and gals!

215/45 will put more contact patch down the road, the only downside is that the sidewall will look somewhat chubbier than the 205/45 even though the aspect ratio is the same

Yeh i just bought a set of rims and the advise i got was to get 215/45/17 but 45 is too thick. I too live in canada. Anyways i decided to go with the 215/ 40 series tires but I have the sportline kit from eibach so it would be better for you to go with the 45 series and fill up some sapce between the tire and the wheel well.
