i had my new wheels and tires installed yesterday and I noticed something today, on the inside of the wheel there are 1/4 oz little weights like 3 on the front wheels and like 6 on the back, anybody know why they would be there? my wheels are 17 rota subzeros and am thinking it might be for balancing is it?

yes, its for balancing. all wheels have them its just that you can view them easier since you have rims now.

lol. basically just keeps it balanced so when your on the highway your wheel doesnt shake or vibrate. simpliest terms i can think of.

should they be replaced immediately if they fall off? what does balancing do for the wheel, even wear? or is it something more?
