205/50/16 possible rubbbing??

I just bought some yokohoma evs es100 in 205/50/16 w/ rotas. My car is lowered about 1.75" all around. Do you think I'll rub w/ 50 series tires? I bought 50 series tires because the roads in my city are fukd up and having a little more meat on my tires will help me prevent ****ing my rims up. I bent up 3 sets of 17" rims, 2 on 40 series and 1 on 45. I've downsized to 16's and I'm hoping I'll never get a flat, bent or anything anymore. I'm getting my rotas in by the end of the week. I just want to know what kind of ride I'll be expecting.

If you were running a 205/40-17 before without rubbing then you should be fine with the 205/50-16's. Is that your ride in your signature??
