What are some good 15*7 rims
What are some good 15*7 rims
I want better traction, yet i don't want to have to mess with suspension/camber/lowering due to larger rims. I have since discovered that i can probably avoid all of these problems by keeping the same height but changing the width! lol. I think my stock steelies are 15*6? An extra inch will improve handling greatly. What are some rims/tires you suggest?
I found these http://styledright.com/catalog/produ...roducts_id=858 i don't know if they are any good or not.
p.s. Also, am i right that i don't need to mess with anything, just put them on and go?

u can put 18 on and just go, no need to lower ur car or mess with suspensions. the circumference is the same for all tires, just the sidewall that gets smaller as ur rims get bigger...(low profile tires) but 15 inch rims will give u better performance, if I were u I'd get rota slipstreams or subzeros since they are one of the lightest rims and since u want 15s...those are best for performance. Traction wise, just get some 195/55/15s or 195/60/15s or 215/55/15s <--(don't know if that works) and go with Yokos or Falken Azenis, very grippy.
EDIT: someone correct my info if I'm wrong, but I think those are correct.

well if you put on 18's you have to mess with the camber, also it looks so gay unless you lower it.
I also need a rim that will hold up to some potholes since i live in ny (not the city) but my area still has a bunch of potholes every now and then. Thanks for the info. How much is this going to run me, and where can i get these?

uh FYI if u put on 18s u don't have to mess with anything? how do I know? because I have 18s and the car doesn't look bad at all without it being lowered. personally though I don't know how much rota slipstreams cost, but I'm guessing 250 each?

Oh oh oh.. Me first!
15 X 7.5 $344.09 Kodiak race wheels
15 X 7.0 $341.78 Kodiak race wheels
15x7 $270 W/Aluminum centers, $320 For Magnesium Keizer Race wheels
15x7 Aluminum $382.17 Circle Race wheels
I'm sure there are other more expensive wheels out there.....
Well i don't want 18's cuz first of all they are too big, and i've seen multiple pictures of 17's on our civics without being lowered and it does look gay.
Where can i find a good wheel+tire package for some 15*7's (125 a rim sounds reasonable)
Also, they will fit with no problem correct? and i don't have to mess with alignment or anything

Yeah they fit, they'll go right on. Avoid the cheap rim and tire packages... they come with **** tires. www.tires.com (Discount Tire), www.tirerack.com , and www.1010tires.com offer "pick a tire" packages. You pick the rims, you pick the tires, they mount and balance for free and ship them to your door. Other places do that too... those 3 just come to my mind at the moment.

I'm looking to get just 2 15x7 kosei k1's for the strip. They are almost the same exact design as my 17's now plus I am tired of running at the track with 17's
I was looking at those. I like the Kosie K1 TS. They are only 11 pounds tho, will tehy bed easily?
What are good tires for this size?

Falken Azenis or Kumho MX in 205/50-15
of course you may learn to like corners better then the straights with these tires.
for the street.... 215 or a 225 probably a good size.

I'm new to aftermarket rims. Can you fit the widest possible size tire for our Civic on 7" rims, like 225s? Or would you have to go to a larger 7.5" width rim to fit the widest meats that won't rub?
