Alright, I am in need of brake pads once again.
First I had the OEM pads and now Ive got the EBC Greenstuff pads, but I was wondering if anyone has had good experiences with other pads. Im obviously looking for somthing that will last awhile, stop better than stock, and perferably less brake dust. I believe last time I was choosing I was picking between EBC, AEM, and metal somthing... cant remember exactly on that last one....
Anyhow, Im sure there are lots of good ones out there and I need to know soon so I dont have problems!
Thanks!
oh, also my brakes are stock except for the pads.

um, they did stink at first, but that went away after a short while. (you could even smell them thru the box!)
I think they stop better, so it seems like they do. Its kinda hard to tell when you can not directly compare them.
Once they brought me to a stop from about 100mph in about half the distance from the stop sign warning sign. (does that make sense?) it was cool cause there was quite a bit of smoke coming out kinda like I did a burnout.
Im sure they are better than OEM, but like I said, its hard to say without doing a direct compairison

Generally you can't get both better perfomance and longer lasting anything. Decide what you want most and ask a more specific question. Stock=quiet Performance=noisy, shorter life, but better performance. The different pads are just different degrees to each of these extremes. What do you want most out of your pads?!

bah!
the noise isnt a big deal.
I dont want them to wear out real quick since they cost more than OEM... and I do need to stop better. It dosent bother me much if they wear out a bit quicker, but I dont want like 1/2 life or somthing
