1 piece rotor or 2 piece rotors

i cant find any good info on this...

maybe somebody on the board might know...

how much does stock rotors weigh?

how much does aftermarket 1 and 2 piece rotors weigh?

does the 2 piece rotors really provide that much more performance enhancement?

and does the 300-400 price tag justify the 2 piece rotors?

if not... 1 piece is better?

thanks

btw, im getting the brake kit from fastbrakes.com

2 piece rotors weigh less (they use aluminum hubs) and are usually better vented for cooling, but I don't think the car weighs enough, nor will the calipers clamp hard enough to make them worth it. On an M3, sure I can see it, but not on a Civic.
I know the Stock sized brembos have a shipping weight of about 40 lbs, so I figure they're about 18-19 lbs a piece.
Cast Iron is cast iron, and since most rotors are made of it, the weight won't differ much.
