Arospeed RS-GT

Hello! I am waiting for my rims to get here... they're Arospeed RS-GT 18s.. I was gonna get 19s but long story lol... neways, it says on the rims RS-GT.. the "RS" part is in red.. and what do you guys think if I paint it with blue? because I'm planning to get my caliper painted with blue... Will it be ok if I just paint it by myself? or go to shop just to freaking paint those "RS"? LOL coz if I DIY paint it and it will come off after driving of few hours.. I'd rather get it painted by pros... what do you guys think about this? any comments, opinions, complains. or suggestions are welcome

Thanks!

btw, here's the pic.. just to give you an idea:

what do you guys think if I paint the "RS" blue?

Thats not paint, its most likely a sticker. Its very rare that any wheel manufacturer paints their logo or wheel name on their wheel. My Volks are not even painted, those are stickers too.

So, you can just have a new sticker made in blue.

Remember I said most likely. It could always be sceen printed on as well and sprayed over with clear coat, but then again you can just cover it with a stcker of the same size.

I just have a question.. did you paint ur brake drums and calipers when you got your rims? If so, do you think the paint kits on Ebay that are sold $18 - $30 are better than the ones that you can get from Autozone, Pepboys, or Kragen... they're VHT Caliper paint...? what do you think? thanks again!

They are all same. Just get one from local auto shop for $9.99. VHT Caliper paint. and please dont paint rear drum, blue. Leave wheels alone, Rs gt logo looks nice.

Draws too much attention. Especially blue rear drum.. Yes i did paint my front and rear calipers in red. I shouldn't have.. I do want to repaint them in black or gunmetal.

This member painted his rear drum. in silver

I never liked painted rear drum. Do SI rear brake conversion

just to get back at your original question. Yes they are stickers. I got the ame rim in 19". I think you would have been much happier with the 19"s bro. They begin to look smaller and smaller every day.
