posted a portion of this question elsewhere but this is a more correct forum.
my question is how do you think stock rims/rubber with lowered pressure(whats' best????) would hold up to a launch @2500 rpm and than a 75 shot in first??

Not sure if i'm gunna spray @ 3000,3200 or 3400...but i'd like to be able to do it in first just to get a bit better time....that of course would depend on if i can maintain traction. I figure i can launch at 2500 and then have it gripping good by the time the shot goes in.

if you dont think i can do it, or at least, if the loss in traction would make any gains from the extra spray moot, can you please suggest alternative rubbers and sizes that can go on my stock steelies? I'd like to be able to keep them street-able. Thanks

I think the stock wheels are 6" wide if you have an EX. You'll have to check with each manufacturer to see how wide of a tire you can fit on a 6" wide wheel.
