Which are better?
Ok well at the track last time I ran with my 17's and nitto 450's.
Would it be better to run with my stocks with the stock tires or the 17's with 450's?
I know, i know, I will be getting 2 rota slipstreams in white wrapped in AVS 100's soon!

??? Are your Rotas with the AVS for use as drag tires exclusivly??? IF so I wouldn't get the AVS (not all that sticky of a tire for drag)
Look at a Set of Falken Azenis or Kumho MX. I konw that these tires are built for corners, but Lots of local drag racers have said that they get just as good if not better 60' times with the falkens Vs Nitto 555R drag radials. and they are cheeper too.
as far as which one is better right now, I wouldnt worry about it as you are planing on getting a different set of tires..... I'd run the stocks just to prolong the life of my street tires. untill the new setup shows up that is.
If you really want a set of Yokohamas, then I'd suggest the A032R in 225/50VR15

nope, they are built for autocross and track days.
$164 for the 225/50-15
If you want a cheep sticky tire, stick with the Falken Azenis or the Kumho MX.
