Question 225/45/17 tires fit??

Hey everyone, ive searched but didnt really find any answers but will 225/45/17 tires fit? Will the tires stick out past the fenders? Anyone have this setup and any pics? I like the look of a wider tire as it looks more aggressive....i dont care if it throws off the speedometer and stuff just wanting to know if it will rub. I will be lowering the car about 1.5inches.....anyone know? Thanks

225 and 215s aren't that much of a difference to me, width wise...I'm gonna risk it and try 235 on the rears

That's why you leave them the same size all around.

Although it isn't uncommon to see 205s on the front and 195s on the back of Integras... if you really want to balance them out, you take some of the contact patch away. Of course not many people would do this on the street, but it is a doable thing for the track, or screwing around, etc... and 10 mm of width wouldn't make a visible difference.

Is there any advantage of running wider tires out back than in the front with FWD cars? I'd think it would be harder to get the back to slip out, but correct me if i'm wrong

I was just going for the looks of the car, if I were to get wider tires I'd get 235 in the rears and 205 in the front, that should be a little noticeable no?

Yes it would make the rear end stick more, but then FWD cars dont suffer from much oversteer.

I wonder If 225/40/18 would be allright on my car, since my IC piping runs through the fender well on the drivers side.
