Will these rub ?
Well...you've left a lot of room for variation with the way you have asked the question...
You are pretty much guaranteed not to rub:
IF the rim is 7 inches wide
IF the tire is 205 width
Things get tighter and may rub
IF the tire is 215 width
AND the offset is closer to +38 than +45
****or****
you were talking about a different width rim
I just tried to put the 2 extremes up there -- what I know will NOT rub and what I know WILL rub. That leaves a big area in the middle that other people can post examples of what they have that worked or didn't work.
My car: 7" rim / +44 offset / 215 45-17 tire = only 1/8" clearance between rear tire & fender!

I am considering either a 40mm offset rim or a 45 offset rim. I don't want the Rim to look too into the wheel well like the stock 45mm offset rims. Most importantly is I intend to put the camber in the front to 0 degree as well as the rear to as close to -0.5 degree as possible. I know that 37mm offset rims no matter how slammed will not rub as I have used that setup before with 205/45 tyres, but this is without any camber corrections. The issue is will a 45mm offset rim and with the car slammed, will they rub after I correct the camber with a camber kit ?
