they will create more brake dust actually. The composite takes some getting used to especially when trying to stop after high speeds. They don't work so well cold and you will still have to press just as hard on the brake pedal. Once they heat up and kick in, they stop pretty well. A mildly good upgrade, nothing spectacular.

yea about the dust he's right! but with the weather factor he's stating not to sure because i never tried EBC personally my self, but a friend of mine has em! But i have Hawks and i have noticed (maybe it's all in my head) less dust from the brakes but i do know that if the brakes aren't heated up as well they will kinda squeak when pressing them at slow speeds...you know like stop and go traffic...but after you drive for a good maybe 5minutes they start to heat up and overall have a great deal of stopping power....but when it all comes down to it i'm glad i went with HAWKS!

I have EBC green stuff on mine for about 4000 miles now. I felt noticable gain in the stopping power, and I highly recommend this mod, just make sure u break it in properly

If you go with the Porterfields, ask them for $10 off each set of pads. they did it for me. ask for Wendy in customer service.

On the site, that part # is listed for the 96-00 EX Civic. I guess I have to ask, we share the same brake pads as the 6th Gen Civics?
