Brake pad recommendations..

My '01 Ex finally had the stock pads die. Can anyone recommend a good set of performance pads? I am looking for something that will give me a little extra braking power without tons of extra dust or squeaking. Of course it needs to live in MN summers and winters...

yep any one of those...except you DO NOT want the redstuff pads. they are made for higher performance cars. Greenstuff, Hawk, or AEM can't go wrong

2k2EXCOUPE will become famous soon enough
There has been some problems with the Greenstuff pads btw. When i got my brakes a few weeks ago I was going to get those and the shop told me the brake had been seperating from the metal holder (whatever its called) and its been a problem. Talked to a couple shops and same answer.

I went with the AEM, they are alright. Shop told me they would warrant them for me if I had problems (since he admitted they squeeled sometimes) but he didnt want me having EBC and the AXIS pads were on back order (he highly recommended the AXIS). He knew I needed brakes BAD though so he said he would just get me AEM and then warrant them if I had problems and get me a new pair if nessecary.

I've got the EBC Greenstuffs and they're decent. I've noticed that they're a little more dusty than OEM, but they still may be breaking in. I also noticed that they stop a little better when they're colder. They're good and I'd say get them.

I love my Porterfields. Great stopping power and they don't squeal or squeak.
