Question Leave them on, or take them off?

Just wondering how many of you out there will be taking off your rims for the winter? I mean, is it really that serious that you have to take off your wheels? I got my wheels in the spring so I never had them in the winter time, so I really dont know what to do. I have 215/45/17, and I dont drive that crazy, so i dont think i'll be fcukin up my rims, but i dont know. I live in NYC, and it does snow a lot at times. I just dont wanna go back to my hubcaps, and im too lazy to have to take off my wheels, lol. Will I be regreting it if I leave it on, or should I just take them off?

Take them off. Mine are already off, and I don't plan on snow for at least 2 more months, maybe more than that. It mostly depends on what kind of tires you have on them, most people put summer tires on their good rims, and they usually don't do so well when it gets cold. The salt, sand and slop will wreck havoc on the finish coat on the wheels... so unless you don't like the wheels or they were so cheap you don't care, I'd take them off.

If they do get messed up by the weather, do you want to have to spend more money to get more just cause you were too lazy to take them off?
