Racing Rims
I need help finding some good drag racing rims. I want them to be 14's. I wish we could fit 13's but 14's will have to do.
Anyone got any ideas? I don't really wanna spend more than $250 total for both rims because i still have to get drag slicks after that.

there are a bunch of companys that make racing/drag wheels.....
Circle Racing Wheels is one
They have a 14X7 for $188 each and weighs 11.2 lbs.
or a 14X6 for 187 and weighs in at 11.1lbs
both are Spun Aluminum.
They do custom work so you can call them and ask for prices and such.

What if you went with some inexpesive wheels like Primax, Konig, American Racing or a similar brand? Since they are 14" they will be light as hell anyway and probably not cost much more than $100 a wheel. I have a set of Primax 106 wheels on my eagle and they weigh 25 lbs with the tire, 185/65-14 the rim is 14X6 too.

Yea I'm looking for something that will give me a ton of grip. I launch at only 3K to 3.5K RPM and I still get mad *** wheel spin.
I guess my question should be......how wide can i go?.....hehehehe
I was thinking at least 7" maybe 8"+

You can probably put 14x8's in, maybe 14x9s if you play the offset right. It doesn't have to look pretty, so if they stick out, who cares, and I don't recall drag racing having much to do with suspension travel, so as long as you choose a tire short enough that it won't rub the fenders, you can hang them out. Othewise... go 8" with an offset right around 40.... then don't turn very hard. I think you can get them in there.

and now the question is, who makes a cheap 14x8 rim? I can't seem to find a webpage that sells Lenso or any other drag rims. I've already looked at the page that Zzyzx posted.
