Opinions on tires . . . Help please!
As you may have noticed I am currently in the need for new tires. I have already been through the whole winter vs all-season thing and have chosen to go all-season. So there, it's cheaper! Anyway, I was wondering if anybody has any personal experience or have heard anything about these tires, good or bad:
Furthermore, If you have a personal preference of tire (ie. top 3 Brand-Names) please list it. I would like to know who exaclty makes the best tire in terms of quality.
Thanks in advance.
- Toyo 800 Ultra's
- Michelin HydroEdge's
- Bridgestone Turanza LS's

I love Bridgestones. I went for a ride in my buddys car, which is rolling on RE950s in 4" of snow.... still glued to the road. Michelins aren't bad either, depending on which ones you go for. If you go for the better ones, you've got it made, but some of the lesser priced michelins suck. The further you can go from the bottom of the line, run of the mill tire that suckers buy, the better off you are. If you're still on 15's, $80-$90 a tire should make you happy.

Well . . .
I have chosen to settle with the Nokian NRW's as decided from consistent research. They seem to be the best all-season or should I say all-weather tire out on the market. What do you guys think of the NRW's? Does anyone have or heard anything about the newer WR's over the now defunct NRW's?
Thanks for the overwhelming replies?!? Ya really . . . any further info would greatly help thanx.

They are kind of expensive though at $135 per tire plus shipping, and they are kind of loud. I'd still recommend them until the cows come home. I love them. (I got mine from tirerack.com)
I just got this month's Consumers Report magazine in the mail, and they tested high performance all season tires. Their top pick was the Falken ZE-512. Kicker is that it's a real inexpensive tire too. They have them here for $34.00 each (185/65-15):

It got a 4 on snow traction (on a 5 point scale), and 4's or 5's on most every other category.
The other tire that did really well was the Bridgestone RE-950, but that got a 1 for snow traction (everything else was really good). But those are fairly expensive -- $71 at tirerack.com.
