help on 17 rims

I just bought some rims that are 17x7 with some 215/45/17 tires.... I was wondering if this will look okay...i was reading some of the questions and comments on this forum and everyone was tlking about how the wheel might stick out or something...and what is an offset... I also don't really want to drop my car will the gap make it look weird on my civic sedan

That size tires will be fine without a drop. Actually, even with a drop you will be fine depending on the offset of the rims. The offset is basically how far and in your rims go.

I couldnt have the 215/45/17 with my drop because I think my offset was incorrect. I SCRUBBED like you wouldnt believe. Though my ride is a little rougher, I really like my 205/40/17 but the 215/45/17 had its benefits (no speedo error, rice ride, looks good WITHOUT drop).

If you got any questions PM me.

From experience, 205/40/17 got an ugly fender gap. Not sure about 215/45/17 on an undropped car though.
