what size tire and what tire to get?????
ok i'm getting some new rims. i just want to know what tire and what size to get. i'm getting some size 15" Circuit 8
You need something wider than 205/50-15 because (from looking at your engine bay) you're gonna have traction problems
Am I right or wrong????
Are those coilovers or springs? How much are you lowered now & what size are the tires you have on in the photos? (Nice Car dude)
I'm trying to figure out how the car will look if it can't be lowered or raised from where it is now.
Are you a hard launcher/street racer or would you even consider drag radials? They are slicker than sheeeeeeeeeet in the rain and don't last very long on the street.

how much wider should i go?? i have NEUSPEED race springs. 2.25 front and 2.0 in the back. no drag radials it rains here in cali.
don't forget to lower! 15's + lowprofiles + stock height = weird
oops!
you're already dropped. Nice work by the way. The turbo looks like it came stock! are you storing your biggies for the cold weather?

If money is no object, Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position would be the tire to get. If you are trying to stay under $100 per tire, Yokohama AVS ES100 is a good choice.
(Both of these tires are available in the 15" sizes that will fit your new wheels/car)
Since you are lowered 2.25" on drag springs in the front & can't raise your car, it would be safer to stay with the 205 width (I was thinking before that maybe you could get 225/50-15's in there, but that sounds like rubbing to me now
)
You didn't say what size tires you currently have, so:
If you have 205/40-17, it's okay to buy 205/50-15
If you have one of the Tire Calculator recommended sizes (205/45-17, 215/40-17, 215/45-17) go with 205/55-15
I hope this helps

Actually the Falken Azenis will give you more dry traction then the S-03's or the AVS's. If you're worried about traction with your turbo an all.... they only come in 205's for 15s but they have PLENTY of grip. Great for autocross (For a street tire), and from what I've heard they grip better then Nittos 555R's for Drag. only problem is that you'll probably only get 10,000 miles outta them.
If you're looking for some thing with decent grip and will last a while then the S-03's or AVS's will do. Other wise, I cant praise the Azenis enough.

Don't forget also that a 205/50 Azenis actually measures out to something more along the lines of 220. Sneaky Falken. The only thing is you'd be buying them constantly. The AVSs really draw no complaints from me, I love them. The only bad thing I've heard about the S03s is that they're very heavy compared to other tires of the same size... they seem to make up for that in their level of wet and dry grip though.

Boilermaker1 has given you the general rule of thumb for manufacturer's treadwear ratings (you have to be 'general' because every manufacturer's rating can't be directly compared against each other). The S03s have a 220 treadwear rating, so you could probably plan on 18,000-24,000 miles as an average tread life. As the commercials always say "your mileage may vary due to your driving style as well as the number of alignments, tire rotations, and burnouts(!) performed during the tires' lifetime"
Note: The Yokos have a treadwear rating of 280
