Katanas
I keep hearing ppl say Katanas are like Exel.... that they do knockoffs of other rims.
Does that mean they are any lesser quality in terms of wear and tear?
I'd like rims for my car but not too expensive.
If I had something like a supra or an s2000 on the other hand, then I'd think Racing Harts or Tenzos would be worth it.

Usually with knockoffs, what happens is the material isn't as good, and they're usually gravity cast rather than forged or counter-pressure cast. They're also usually heavier because the material has to be thickened in order to stand up to wear and tear. There are exceptions... Rota makes pretty decent knockoffs and keeps them light and durable.
Well, the quality isn't bad, but it's not the best either. As long as you keep them clean the finish should be OK. Don't expect them to be up to the same standards as Volk as far as quality goes.
You get what you pay for basically.
