New rims and tires

Hey everyone. I went ahead and purchased new rims and tires and am waiting right now for the performance shop to call me. I got RH Evolution CPS in granite 17x7 and the new Nitto NeoGens. Anyone have these tires? I got 205/40ZR17. Ive heard good reviews on them, but I think only one person on this site has them. Does anyone have these wheels? Thanx.

Not too many have them yet -- I think you are leading the way on this combination, but the graphite should look nice.

Reminder: 205/40's are smaller in diameter than stock, so your speedometer will read around 3-1/2% to 4% too fast (your car will be going that much slower than what the speedometer indicates). Also with 205/40's you'll have a big gap, so start saving for your lowering springs or coilovers right now!

Yep. I realised that after I got them. No matter. If I dont like the tire, after it wears out, Ill just get a different one that is the correct size. If I like them, Ill just move up to the 215/40ZR17. That has a .93%. Right now, I like them. I felt a big difference from stock. The graphite looks sweet. At least I think so, my GF doesnt like them. But I think the main reason is that she doesnt like the wheel gap. I think its a 2" gap. Ill try to get my GF to take pics so I can post them up here and see what yall think. I plan on springs. Im saving what I can. Maybe by christmas I can have enough money saved up. School starts soon and thats going to take up some money. Well Ill see what I can do about pics.

Note: The new NeoGens only come in 205/40ZR17. There is no 205/45ZR17. The next size up is the 215/40ZR17.

should have got the 215's imo... but then again, i wouldnt have got 17's... unless you are ALL about performance, then 15-17 makes sense, and since those are roughly 17lbs, maybe you are into performance, they arent that heavy of a wheel.. they will look TINY unless you slam it, just so you know... and i have NO experience with the new tires... i HATE nitto... only tire of thiers i like is 555r
